Pressure Power Washing (“we”, “us”) provides pressure cleaning across Sydney's North Shore, Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we store, use and share it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We only collect what we need to quote, book and do the job:
- When you request a booking on this website: your name, mobile number and suburb, the services and sizes you pick, and your preferred day and time.
- When we confirm the job: your street address and any access details you give us (for example, where the outdoor tap and power point are).
- When you call, text or email us: your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us.
- When we do the job: photos of the areas we clean, so we can show you the result.
We don't ask for sensitive information, such as health information, and we don't need it.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use your information
- To arrange, confirm and carry out your job, including texting or calling you about your booking.
- To quote and invoice for our work.
- To keep business records and meet our legal obligations, such as tax record-keeping.
- To answer questions and handle complaints.
We won't send you marketing unless you ask us to, we won't use photos of your property in our marketing without your permission, and we never sell or rent your personal information.
Dealing with us anonymously
You can ask us general questions without giving your name. To book a job, we need your name, mobile number and address.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They only handle your information to provide their service to us:
- Google: stores booking requests and our calendar (Google Sheets, Google Calendar and Gmail).
- Cloudflare: hosts this website.
Otherwise, we only disclose personal information if you agree to it, or if the law requires or allows it.
Storage outside Australia
Google and Cloudflare may store or process information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We use well-established providers that protect the information they hold for us.
Keeping it secure
Your booking details are kept in a password-protected account that only we can access. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll tell you and explain what you can do.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including record-keeping we're required to do by law. After that, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details below. It's free, and we'll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, please tell us first and we'll try to fix it. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
